Research Interests

I am passionate about studying the impact of planning on minority groups, with a specific focus on aboriginal communities. In addition, I also have an interest in exploring mental health in communities and better ways of fostering positive mental health, especially among youth, through planning.

Research Topic

My research topic is directly related to planning practices and Canada’s First Nations communities. I am hoping to identify the ways in which the planning profession can better communicate and work with First Nations communities to work towards a stronger tomorrow, through a case study specifically focused on Ontario communities.
