Ola Mousa, MES Planning candidate and winner of the Faculty of Environment heat of the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition, is investigating the lack of adoption of the building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) in Ontario. As she explains in this presentation, the technology is very much in line with environmental ideals. BIPV systems are potentially hugely beneficial, though adoption and utilization rates are low in Ontario. Ola sets out a roadmap, investigating why this might be so.
