Vito Lam, M.Sc.

Research Technician Hydrometeorology and Biogeochemistry Labs, University of Waterloo


Vito is a MSc Candidate and works as a lab technician and project manager in the Biogeochemistry Lab for Prof. Merrin Macrae and Prof. Rich Petrone. His work primarily surrounds the study of hydrological runoff and water quality in southern Ontario agricultural soils. His responsibilities include overseeing the everyday operation of the research lab as well as multiple agricultural research sites across southern Ontario that are actively monitoring and collecting tile and surface water samples.

Vito’s interests include agricultural nutrient management, tile drainage, biogeochemical cycling, and soil hydrology.

He has definitely never broken anything in the lab.
