Greg Carron, B.A., M.C.C.

MES Candidate

Greg’s research will take place in Northern Alberta with a focus on wetlands reclamation certification. The overall goal of his research is to develop a way to evaluate wetlands reclamation success while reducing soil inputs for reclamation. The objectives of his project are to: i) determine how the policy for wetlands reclamation was created–specifically with respect to soil depth, and; ii) examine how a terrestrial ecosystem functions across a variety of soil depths using the BIOME-BGC model to help inform soil depth requirements for wetlands reclamation certification.
